ABOUT US
 Dora Capelluto has been providing counseling
services for the last 30 years, for
individuals, couples, families and
stepfamilies. She worked until 2002 in
Buenos Aires, Argentina as a licensed
psychologist, marriage and family therapist
and from 2003 to now; she is working in
South Florida as a Licensed Marriage and
Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health
counselor.
Dora started her work with stepfamilies in
1995 as President of Fundación Familias
Siglo XXI, in Argentina, and she continued
this work in South Florida as President of
the Stepfamily Support Group “Tuyos, Míos y
Nuestros”. She was invited to participate as
a Board Member of the Stepfamily Association
of America and now as a Member of the
Experts Council at the National Stepfamily
Resource Center, Auburn University.
Dora is a Clinical Member of the American
Association for Marriage and Family Therapy
and an Approved Supervisor for Mental Health
Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy
interns in the State of Florida. She was
invited in 2005 to participate in the Board
of the Broward American Association of
Marriage and Family Therapy and for the next
two years, she will serve as President
Elect-Elect.
Dora Capelluto is now working in her private
practice, providing counseling and marriage
and family therapy and dictating workshops
for couples, stepfamilies and organizations
in the community. She is also assisting with
in-home behavioral services, children with
disabilities and their families in Broward
County. |
